Our 175 Jubilee Celebration

On Friday morning my very loud alarm rang. Then I turned it off. My mum shouted for me to come down for breakfast. I came running down. She said, “hurry up, you need to get ready for school.” After I was dressed, I ran out the door and then got in the car and drove to school.

When I got to school we had to go to church to sing songs at mass. We sang “Hearts on fire” which is my favourite and “Here I am Lord” and a lot more. It was fun to sing songs at mass. And after all the singing we went back to school .Then we had morning tea. I had my carrot and my natural bar. Then after morning tea Mrs Bullet split us into our teams. We had Jacob and Estherose as our tabloid leaders. My favourite was Mrs George’s activity. She was  doing a gumboot toss. After all  that  fun we had  lemonade ice blocks. It was one of the  best days of my life.

On Saturday we had face paint at school. I was a moustachio man. We had a sausage sizzle and then ice block’ s from my dad’s work.

The next day it was Sunday and we all met at church. Mrs Kyle and Miss Thompson sat next to us and we all sang songs. After that we went to the hall and we sang three songs to our audience. Finally we ate the best food ever and I think it was a successful weekend.
